Is asking a girl out before winter break ok?

if your afraid that u wont see her much than u should really get a jump on it and ask her out other wise u may never get a chance to. its not that bad if u dont have any cles together i dont have any cles with my boyfriend since hes a junior and im a freshman but we still make it work.
