Any ideas on the Bose 3-2-1 GS and 3-2-1 GSX DVD home theater systems?

i was seeing if anyone has a bose 3-2-1 gs series II or 3-2-1 gsx dvd home theater system and knows if it playes DVD+R/+RW and -R/RW type of discs and if these systems are worth it?
